 Who We Are:  Stars Standing Up! is an educational non-profit organization that informs the public on important matters of National and International significance  by placing socially conscious content and advocacy concepts in as many places as we can within the media.  By then enlisting the help of Stars, from all walks of life, we hope to maximize awareness and encourage people  to Stand Up! and act! 

We also  have researched what  seems to be a measurable attraction to Celebrity and we intend to channel that magnetism into highly visible projects, which highlight Celebrities who Stand Up! to make a difference, and  raise awareness in order to funnel  revenue directly into the causes.

What We Do:
It is simple, our Organization serves to  educate the public and empower them to act on important issues.We not only do our own research and create our own innovative content to do so , but we have created a "workshop" where the celebrity or charity can come and present an idea or mission and we then help to get their message out  to millions. They may be featured in a segment of S.O.S...The Stars Other Side, our TV program that features the good work that Stars do when they are not in the spotlight. Or they may be shown in a Don't Die, Adapt ad supporting someone who has fought major adversity and somehow overcome. Once again, we serve to channel the revenues, from this kind of awareness, to support the issues at hand.

Because we have found that celebrity attachment is  the #1 way to raise awareness to a cause, you might say we are working to change the World one celebrity project at a time!

What is ADVOCULTURE?

How We Began:
Stars Standing Up! was born as a way to  mobilize the general public to act! History has proven that when Stars Stand Up! people act and important things get accomplished. But we noticed the Stars struggling for a platform to promote their important messages. Time and time again we saw that when celebs were being interviewed for a movie they asked  if they could "just mention one more thing." and then spurted out info on a cause that needed support or an event occurring to raise money for something. We could see the passion and the magic was created right then. #1,They were being promoted because people care to see or hear them and #2,they were using that time to promote for people less fortunate. 1+ 2= Stars Standing Up!

We have found that a celebrity will even forgo their own careers to give back and have changed the focus of their celebrity from the spotlight to a mission. We would like to utilize the spotlight to help enhance their mission.

What stands us apart from other celebrity organizations?
There are no other organizations like Stars Standing Up! The highy respected EIFoundation, serves mainly Hollywood, and raises money mostly for  much needed research. If you have seen an ad with a celeb and a charity it was probably in collaboration with the amazing EIF. Our organization wishes to take a spin and actually give the celebrity a forum to speak and create entertainment based content to "entertain" the public while getting the message out, therefor, mobilizing the public to act. We plan to be highly creative and use innovative ways to get the word out ,through tv and web programming, as well as, live events beyond charity galas. We are also the only organization to utilize the celebrity of anyone from Actors to Chefs and even Scientists to Global leaders; anyone who is well known enough to stand out within their respective careers.

Each time Stars Standing Up! receives the crucial support needed from foundations, corporations, individuals and government agencies, income is put right back into the development of projects that matter, that address some of the most critical issues facing our society, and work that makes a difference Worldwide.

How We Do It:
Our mission only thrives if we can find exactly Where, What and Who needs our help. In a collaborative-based effort from other organizations, news, media, celebrities and other individuals we hear real stories that we then use as the basis for projects that will effectively and efficiently reach millions and effect positive change localy, nationally, and globally. We harness the collective power of a People that want to live in a World and be affiliated with such an organization that promotes cultural diversity, tolerance, acceptance, education and maximizes understanding. We are motivated by the evidence that educational media that is compelling, engaging and entertaining inspires change.

Why We Do It:
We are committed to the principle that human lives are of equal value no matter what their particular challenge may be or where they are in the World. These very special celebrities realize how fortunate they are and are Standing Up! in support of a community of people that, simply, need more help. By lending their Star Power to the cause, they can bring the kind of awareness that is much needed to facilitate change. It is important work that must be done. Through our work we hope to soften cultural barriers and promote the virtue that we are all alike, we all have the same challenges and adversities, and by coming together as one through common causes, we can narrow the margins that keep our precious humanity at constant odds.
