STARS STANDING UP!

ADVOCULTURE^TM,  Is our attempt to introduce something positive into the lexicon. A new kind of cultural movement designed to mobilize the public to Stand Up! by placing advocacy concepts in as many places as we can. Through celebrity attention,  grassroots, media, viral and cutting edge innovative ways of "getting the word out" we want to get people talking! If we can get  these important issues in front of people while they are leading their everyday lives then they become aware that these issues exist and hopefully become motivated to do something about them.  The following initiatives are just a few of the ways we hope to begin creating a new age of  Advoculture.

S.O.S...The Stars Other Side^TM, is dedicated to enlightening the general public as to how celebrities contribute when they feel the responsibility to give back. Our vision is to cover their generous giving in a televised medium and show a side of the stars that is usually shrouded in exclusivity.   Through our special coverage we hope to maximize awareness for the causes that are important to the celebrities as well as offer an engaging viewing opportunity that will not only entertain but compel, inspire others to contribute, and give viewers an exclusive opportunity to share these intimate experiences with celebrities from all industries.

S.O.S...The Stars Other Side^TM, would like to syndicate the concept to different media outlets and place it in  highly visible ways to further the mission of raising awareness. 

*** MEDIA UPDATE: "S.O.S...The Stars Other Side" Program can now be heard on a live International stream at www.WNJC1360.com on Mondays from 7-8PM as part of  the "The Well-Advised Woman" series. We will be publishing a list of celebrity guests as well as archiving the programs soon.***

Advo-Couture^TM  Our idea of "clothes with a conscience". Through this initiative we will collaborate with various partners as well as create our own merchandise in which a % of all proceeds will go to the corresponding cause

Don't Die, Adapt^TM We hope to  make this slogan our motto by doing a print campaign in major magazines. We will do a series of stories/pictures of people who have overcome major adversity and adapted to their particular challenge. Through  this we hope to raise awareness for the Stars Standing Up! Organization. We would also like to use this motto for Advo-Couture merchandise to support the organization.

CELIAC AWARENESS: I am dedicated to doing anything to get the word out on the benefits of eating a gluten-free diet. I was diagnosed a few years ago and cannot express how sick I was and how going on the diet  has changed my life for the positive. All children with ADD , autism or any problem with related symptoms must be on this diet. It has made certain children go from very sick children to symptom-free. The benefits go on and on. I will post more info on what I will be doing to raise awareness in upcoming Blogs.
