EVENT NEWS
>>We have many exciting things to report since we began a few short months ago. We are so thankful for the suppport we have gotten and the partnerships we have formed. Here are a few things coming up to look forward to. We will be posting pictures from the events as they happen.
March 15, 2008: THE RED BALL for the Red Cross (Melissa was asked to be a VIP guest and was asked to be the Official Emcee for Red Ball 2009) The Event was held at the National Constitution Center.
April 3, 2008 : THE CRYSTAL BALL for the Ovarian Cancer Society ( Melissa was asked to be the Introductory Host as well as will be Hosting the VIP pre-party and will be attending as a "Celebrity" guest). The event will be held at the Crystal Tea Room
April 12, 2008: RUN THE ROX a 5K race for the Roxboro Developments Corp's Revitalization Project. ( Melisssa has been asked to be the"Spokesmodel/person" for this project and will kick off the race and Introduce the Councilman.)
May 1, 2008: HIGH HEELS KICK OUT KIDNEY DISEASE for the National Kidney Disease Foundation ( Melissa was asked to be a Co-host of the event and will be signing autographs for the guests). The Event and Fashion Show will be held at Neiman Marcus.
May 7, 2008: CORPORATE LEADERSHIP BREAKFAST for Greater PhiladelphiaCares ( Melissa will be interviewing Director, Renee Archawski on The Well Advised Woman)
May 14, 2008: FASHION FRENZY TV INTERNATIONAL LAUNCH benefitting LOCKS OF LOVE. The event will be held at Saks 5th Ave( Melissa will be one of the Celebrity Guests)
May 25, 2008: TEAL RIBBON 5K RACE for Ovarian Cancer. The event will be at Fairmount Park and Melissa will be greeting the guests with welcoming comments)
May 15, 2008: OPERATION SMILE GALA for Children with facial malformities.( Melissa for Stars Standing Up! was asked to book the "special Celebrity performance"-stay tuned to find out who it is)
June 11, 2008: THE CAREER WARDROBE Annual Celebrity Fashion Show ( Melissa was asked to Model in the Celebrity Fashion Show). The event will be held at The World Cafe Live and Mayor Nutter of Philadelphia is this years Honorary guest..
June 29, 2008 THE WELL-ADVISED WOMAN will be broadcasting live from The Philadelphia Independent Film Festival .( Melissa was asked to be a guest judge on the Film panel)
July 21, 2008: THE WELL-ADVISED WOMAN WNJC1360.com Live remote ( Melissa will be airing Live from a Bucks County Hospital at a Breast Cancer Forum with a Live audience)
August 14th, 2008: THE YOUNG PROFESSIONALS ACTION COMMITTEE EVENT held at the World Bar at the United Nations, NYC ( Melissa is a guest of a Board Member and will be representing Stars Standing Up!)
September 24, 2008: APPETITE FOR AWARENESS held at he Wachovia Center to gain awareness for Celiac Disease. 35 Restaurants will compete in an Iron-Chef like competition cooking Gluten-Free food.( The Well-Advised Woman will be a media sponsor for the event)
September 25, 2008: CELEBRITY BARTENDER SERIES held at Kildare's in Philadelphia. (Melissa was asked to be a celebrity Guest bartender to help raise funds for The Career Wardrobe.)
October, 2008: Melissa will be hosting a series of events for the Young Women's Initiative of Women's Way (YWI)
